Hoo Are You by wolfwings1 Hoo Are You by wolfwings1
A shot of the owl on the wire before he jumped off, was so awesome seeing him, we were just driving around, and happened to look over towards the trees and spotted him, told my mom to stop and got a bunch of shots. Same owl as in this one wolfwings1.deviantart.com/art/...

Yeah thats what others seem to be saying, and they are becoming a problem here on the west coast.

They arn't native to the west coast, normally the rockies would have blocked them, but apparently global warming, or just warmer weather has been allowing them to migrate more to the west, and they are pushing out spotted owls and other local owls from their teritories.

You have a good eye, nice composition.

I wish it was less pixelly. What kind of camera do you use?

Wow, really impressive with that type of camera.

I suggest moving up to a SLR when able. I know they can be pricy, but I think your camera is holding you back a bit. Keep an eye on Ebay for used ones you can sometimes get a good deal when people upgrade.

it's a digital camera, 12.1 mega pixels, 50 optical, 200 digital zoom.  It's pretty good for what I need at the moment, still learning so some limitations on the shots may still be myself more then the camera.  My dads friend that is a professional photographer suggested this one for a intro camera, medium end, but good optical for bird shots which I do alot of.  I might upgrade, but want to get the hang of it and see how I do before I go into the high end range.

Wow! I would certainly say that this is your best bird photo so far! Keep up the good work.
