Thanks it's so unique hehe really looks like it's rusted, especially next to the rusted metal.

Beautiful colours on this little one! I'd say 6-9 months old? Also this is called "red" the colouration. I have an Ash red homer that I rescued named "Fig " :)

Funny thing is, I took this shot right below the juvenile bald eagle in the other shots :>   these guys were sitting there watching me mroe then the eagle, they took off every time he flew, but once he was sitting up above they ignored him.

Maybe! I wouldn't even try to guess :) Only just found out recently that what we have always called pigeons are actually rock doves!

I love pigeons. My grandfather raises them, so he's taught me how amazing these little guys are. :)

Raptors are great too (Just don't let my grandfather know I said that. He and the hawks in our yard are enemies XD). But yeah, pigeons are suprisingly diverse. My absolute favorites are German Owls, who are more or less the sheepdogs of the pigeon world: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…

I think we have about the same kind of birds here. We also have horned owls, kestrels and occasionally screech owls :)
